We understand the importance of the right diet, which is why we offer our students the authentic sattvic diet which has many benefits for the body. Apart from just offering the diet, we take care of the process and the raw material. I attended the Himalayan Yoga Retreat with Yogpeeth Rishikesh in August, and it was such a wonderful experience. The retreat was a perfect mix of yoga, nature, spiritual places, and traditional Indian culture. Each morning started with a peaceful yoga session in the fresh mountain air. Practicing yoga with the beautiful Himalayan views made it very special. The mornings were so calm and peaceful that I really didn't wanna go back to my home.
The food at the retreat was amazing. Every day, we enjoyed delicious, traditional Indian meals made with fresh, local ingredients. The simple yet tasty food, like vegetables, dals, rice, and chapatis, gave us the energy we needed for yoga and exploring. All the food taste so good that I loved the local food in the Himalayas. We also visited some incredible places. The ashrams in Rishikesh were peaceful and full of spiritual energy. Visiting Devprayag, where two rivers meet to form the Ganges, was a very unique experience for me. At Dhari Devi Temple, we were surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The trek to Tungnath was quite hectic for me but was worth it—the views at the top were breathtaking. We also visited Devariya Taal, a peaceful lake that reflects the snow-covered peaks, and Kartik Swami Temple, where we saw amazing views of the mountains. This retreat was not just about yoga, but also about exploring the natural beauty, spiritual places, and delicious food of India. I came back feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected to yoga and nature. I highly recommend the Himalayan Yoga Retreat with Yogpeeth Rishikesh—it’s an experience I’ll never forget. And I deeply thank from the bottom of my heart to all the team members of Yogpeeth to make this possible for us. I am gonna come back again!!

I was a bit skeptical about doing my prenatal yoga teacher training in India, but Yogpeeth Rishikesh exceeded my expectations in every way. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, but also willing to answer our million questions and provide feedback. To uphold the integrity of the program, participants must actively participate in all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes.
In alignment with the principles of yoga, certain lifestyle choices are prohibited during the course. These include the consumption of meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and any form of nudity. Such practices are counterproductive to the path of yoga. Participants who fail to adhere to these guidelines may be dismissed from the course to maintain the sanctity of the learning environment.
Nudity is strictly prohibited.
