My name is Laura Olivia and I live in Canada, one of the reasons I came to India was to learn yoga. At first, I didnt intend to do 200 hours of yoga teacher training but seeing the course syllabus on their website and the good reviews I tried it for 24 days and I dont regret it one bit. We were received very warmly with a fire ceremony and delicious and a healthy satvic dinner.
These are the people who change lives. I'm so grateful for the 3-day yoga retreat I attended at Gurukul Yogashala. It was everything I hoped for and more. 3 days seems like such a short time, but the retreat offers various outings and activities to make you feel like you've really gotten a taste of this holy city. Rishikesh is such a beautiful backdrop for transformation.
Hi, my name is Robin, and I am coming from Montreal! I really enjoyed doing my YTTC with Gurukul Yogashala. I have been able to understand what's a correct posture, even the simplest one ;) Arvind was able to challenge and motivate me. Before coming to this centre I read various book about yoga, but it's only during these 24 days that I have been able to fully catch what yoga actually is.
