We, with our clean and comfortable stay offer an ideal rest environment for the students that offers a breathtaking view of the foothills of the Himalayas. While to keep the body energized throughout the day, our sattvic meal does the job. According to the ancient scriptures, sattvic meals are the ideal food that should be consumed by humans, it preserves the nutrients of the food while making it ideal for offering benefits like energy, easy to digest, feels light and many more.

We at our school offer a sattvic diet to students which is among the best diet and most recommended even in the ancient scriptures. The diet is even scientifically proven to help the body attain the best results. While preparing the diet for the students, we take care of the procedure and use the best vegetables/resources available. The sattvic diet helps in keeping the body light while offering all the necessary nutrients to the body for better functioning.
I attended the Himalayan Yoga Retreat with Rishikesh Yoga Ashram in August, and it was such a wonderful experience. The retreat was a perfect mix of yoga, nature, spiritual places, and traditional Indian culture. Each morning started with a peaceful yoga session in the fresh mountain air. Practicing yoga with the beautiful Himalayan views made it very special. The mornings were so calm and peaceful that I really didn't wanna go back to my home.
The food at the retreat was amazing. Every day, we enjoyed delicious, traditional Indian meals made with fresh, local ingredients. The simple yet tasty food, like vegetables, dals, rice, and chapatis, gave us the energy we needed for yoga and exploring. All the food taste so good that I loved the local food in the Himalayas. We also visited some incredible places. The ashrams in Rishikesh were peaceful and full of spiritual energy. Visiting Devprayag, where two rivers meet to form the Ganges, was a very unique experience for me. At Dhari Devi Temple, we were surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The trek to Tungnath was quite hectic for me but was worth it—the views at the top were breathtaking. We also visited Devariya Taal, a peaceful lake that reflects the snow-covered peaks, and Kartik Swami Temple, where we saw amazing views of the mountains. This retreat was not just about yoga, but also about exploring the natural beauty, spiritual places, and delicious food of India. I came back feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected to yoga and nature. I highly recommend the Himalayan Yoga Retreat with Rishikesh Yoga Ashram—it’s an experience I’ll never forget. And I deeply thank from the bottom of my heart to all the team members of Yogpeeth to make this possible for us. I am gonna come back again!!
I had completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course from Rishikesh. Rishikesh Yoga Ashram is the best yoga school in Rishikesh as everything in that place was perfect for me. The teachers are so amazing with pool of knowledge in the field of Yoga. The accommodation was top-class with delicious sattvic food. I learned a lot and felt that I have come to the right place to start my yoga journey.
After looking for so many schools for a while now, even on day 1 I knew I made the right choice. I had made friends of lifetime and made it feel at home from day one. The staff was really good. Being a solo traveller had my doubts about the security but upon reaching here I knew I was overthinking unnecessarily. Will surely come back and will again learn in-depth for my 300 Hour Yoga teacher training here in Rishikesh Yogpeeth.
Rishikesh Yoga Ashram was an amazing experience for me! The yoga sensei were top-notch, teaching us with kindness and patience. I felt like I was in good hands. The grub was delicious, I mean, seriously oishii! I looked forward to every meal. Reminded me of my obaachan's cooking back home. The surroundings were super peaceful, like a serene forest. - we also had some amazing classes! From Hatha to Vinyasa, and even some meditation and pranayama sessions. I loved the variety and depth of the teachings. And when we weren't in class, we were out exploring Rishikesh! We visited the Ganges River, took a dip in the holy waters, and even checked out some of the local markets. Lakshman Jhula was a highlight - that suspension bridge was crazy! I'm definitely going back to Rishikesh Yoga Ashram, it's the bomb! Arigatou, guys, for taking care of me. I felt like a new man when I left!

I was a bit skeptical about doing my prenatal yoga teacher training in India, but Rishikesh Yoga Ashram exceeded my expectations in every way. The instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, but also willing to answer our million questions and provide feedback. The curriculum was comprehensive and well-structured, covering everything from prenatal anatomy to teaching methodology. What really stood out to me, though, was the supportive
community that formed among the students. We were all there for different reasons, but we quickly became a little family, supporting and encouraging each other through the ups and downs of the program. Rishikesh itself is a bit of a chaotic city, but the yoga school is an oasis of calm in the midst of it all. And the food - oh my gosh, the food was amazing! If I'm being totally honest, there were a few moments when I felt overwhelmed or frustrated, but the staff was always available to listen and offer guidance. Overall, I'm so grateful for this experience and feel confident in my ability to teach prenatal yoga. If you're considering doing your training here, I say go for it - you won't regret it.
